After Sharon ended her career as a pharmacist in May 2014, the «world traveler at heart»
decided to take a completely new direction in his life.
She bought a T@BM@x teardrop-shaped caravan in 2015 and started a nomadic lifestyle!
She is towing the trailer with her 4-door Jeep Wrangler and now lives there permanently.
Sharon affectionately calls it her «big teardrop-shaped caravan» because it differs from the classic models ;
it offers a ceiling height and an interior height of 5’9″ at its highest point, perfect for its height of 5’4″.
The total weight is 1,670 pounds.
Sharon had been thinking about this purchase for a long time.
She visited the RTR in January 2012 and thought about the vehicle best suited to her adventures.
The pensioner previously owned four larger caravans,
but she didn’t know whether she should return to a smaller motorhome or a van.
Sharon wanted to keep her Jeep because she likes to drive it.
However, Jeeps have a limited towing capacity and are not renowned for
their excellent towing capabilities.
However, Sharon was pleasantly surprised to see how well the Jeep
towed the teardrop-shaped trailer!
The teardrop-shaped caravan is an excellent choice for those who wish to
experience the nomadic lifestyle.
There is a toilet and a wet bath that Sharon can use standing up.
As for electricity, Sharon sources her supplies in two ways :
she connects the trailer to electricity and uses 135 watt solar panels.
Although the kitchen is equipped with a two-burner stove,
Sharon likes to cook outdoors to enjoy the fresh air and keep the smells away.
Your caravan is equipped with a large awning and many windows to
allow sunlight and air circulation.
For colder nights, Sharon uses a radiator and a propane heater
which heat the caravan in 2 to 3 minutes.
In hot weather, she uses the caravan’s air conditioning.
The windows and doors are equipped with a mosquito net that prevents insects from entering.
It may come as a surprise, but Sharon’s caravan has a small kitchen
fully equipped, including a refrigerator!
Sharon is never bored in her little teardrop-shaped trailer,
even when she’s just inside.
She installed an entertainment system capable of playing CDs and DVDs
and a flat-screen TV for his favorite shows.
As for her sleeping arrangements, Sharon has a sofa bed that she leaves
always like this so that you don’t have to constantly clean.
One of the best things for this retiree is that she meets many
different people during his travels.
Sharon lived in many places, but often she did not know her neighbors.
